Titanium Processed Parts

Product Introduction:

Titanium processed parts are industrial components made from titanium or titanium alloys through forging, rolling, welding, and other processes.
Product Category:

1. Classified by material structure

Industrial pure titanium processing parts: TA1 and TA2 grades, strong corrosion resistance, suitable for chemical storage tanks and nuclear seals;

Alpha titanium alloy parts, such as TA7, have good high-temperature oxidation resistance and are used for aircraft engine compressor blades;

α+β - type titanium alloy parts: such as TC4, with comprehensive strength and plasticity, used for aviation structural components;

β - type titanium alloy parts: such as TB2, with high strength, toughness, and cold forming ability, used for aerospace fasteners.

2. Classified by application field

Aerospace components: engine blades, rocket fuel tubes;

Sanitary equipment: orthopedic implant nails, cardiovascular stents;

Chemical equipment: reaction kettle, seawater desalination device;

Energy devices: hydrogen fuel cell bipolar plates, nuclear reactor components.

Common brand:

Brand: TA2, TC4, TA10, TA15.

Production process:

1. Melting and Casting:

Using vacuum consumable arc furnace or plasma arc melting, with impurity content<0.1%;

2. Forming processing:

Hot rolling/forging: temperature 800-950 ℃, improving material uniformity;

Cold rolling/stamping: precision machining to target size, surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.2 μ m;

3. Welding and connection:

Argon arc welding or electron beam welding, with a weld strength of 90% of the base metal;

4. Post processing:

Solid solution aging heat treatment;

Surface anodizing or sandblasting to enhance corrosion resistance and aesthetics.

Performance characteristics:

Mechanical properties: The tensile strength of TC4 titanium alloy reaches 895-1100MPa, and the fatigue strength is greater than 500MPa;

Corrosion resistance: The corrosion rate of TA2 pure titanium in strong acid is less than 0.005mm/year;

High temperature performance: The oxidation weight gain rate of TA15 alloy at 600 ℃ is less than 0.1mg/cm ² · h;

Biocompatibility: Compliant with ISO 5832 standard, non-toxic and non-magnetic.

Application areas:

Aerospace: engine compressor blades, rocket fuel pipelines;

Medical health: orthopedic implants, cardiovascular stents;

Chemical Ocean: seawater desalination equipment, chlor alkali reaction kettle;
