1. Classify by structural form
Circular welded pipe: accounting for over 80%, suitable for fluid transportation scenarios;
Irregular welded pipe: used for special interface matching.
2. Classified by application field
Industrial grade welded pipe: TA2/GR2 pure titanium material, used for chemical reactors and nuclear power condensers;
Aviation grade welded pipe: TC4 alloy, used for manufacturing high-pressure pipelines for engines and rocket fuel pipes.
Brand: TA2/GR2, TC4/GR5, TA9/GR7, Gr23.
1. Roll forming:
The titanium strip is cold-rolled or hot-rolled to a thickness of 0.5-5mm, with a width that matches the pipe diameter requirements;
2. Welding process:
Argon arc welding: With inert gas protection, the weld strength reaches over 90% of the base material;
Laser welding: high precision, suitable for thin-walled precision welded pipes;
3. Post processing:
Rolling straightening: eliminating welding residual stress;
Acid washing and polishing: Surface roughness Ra ≤ 0.4 μ m, improving corrosion resistance;
Expansion strengthening: Expanding the diameter of the pipe through hydraulic pressure to enhance the interfacial bonding force.
1. Mechanical properties:
The tensile strength reaches 45-55MPa;
TC4 welded pipe with dynamic pressure of 15MPa and 2000 cycles without leakage;
2. Corrosion resistance:
Annual corrosion rate<0.01mm, resistant to seawater, chlor alkali, and nitric acid media;
The resistance to pitting corrosion of TA9 welded pipes containing palladium is increased by 5 times;
3. Strong process adaptability:
Capable of processing wall thickness of 0.3-10mm, with an ovality tolerance of ± 0.05mm;
Support coating treatment, suitable for special scenarios such as fuel cell bipolar plates.
