Classification of titanium fittings
1. Classify by material
Industrial pure titanium pipe fittings: grades include TA1, TA2, TA3, TA4, with a purity of over 99% and excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for chemical and marine engineering.
Alpha titanium alloy fittings, such as TA5 and TA7, have good high temperature resistance and are used in aerospace heat exchangers.
Alpha - β titanium alloy fittings, such as TC4, have high strength and good weldability, and are widely used in aviation, medical and health industries.
β - type titanium alloy fittings, such as TB2, are strengthened by heat treatment and used for high-strength structural components.
2. Classify by function
Titanium flange: a pipe connection component that must comply with ASTM B363 or HG/T3651 standards.
Titanium elbow/tee: changing the direction or diversion of pipelines, commonly used in chemical and petroleum pipelines.
Titanium flange/cap: Seal the end of the pipeline and be corrosion-resistant.
Titanium shaped parts: such as special section pipes, used for customized needs.
3. Classified by process
Seamless titanium pipe fittings: manufactured through extrusion or oblique rolling perforation processes, with uniform wall thickness, suitable for high-pressure environments.
Welded titanium pipe fittings: formed by welding titanium strips, with high production efficiency, suitable for mass production of thin-walled pipes.
